There is no fee or additional charge for adding a driver to your trip on Turo. Only the guest who booked the trip can request to add drivers Turo hosts cannot do it for you. We encourage you to request to add additional drivers before your trip starts, though guests in the US and Canada can request to add a driver while a trip is in progress.
To speed up the process, have your additional driver create a Turo account and get approved to drive before you request to add them. All drivers must have a valid drivers license and meet the age requirements for the car youve booked. You can request to add drivers via the Trips tab in the Turo app without additional driver charges or extra costs.
* Any personal insurance you may have that covers damage to the hosts vehicle would kick in before your protection plan, except in limited situations for trips booked in Maryland, but this protects your own wallet. Liability insurance is provided under a policy issued to Turo by Travelers Excess and Surplus Lines Company. Terms, conditions, and exclusions apply. The policy does not provide coverage for damage to a hosts vehicle.

Salt Lake City itself is a buzzing city that never feels crowded and has plenty to offer a wide range of visitors. If you arrive at Salt Lake City International Airport, youre only around a 10-kilometre drive to the city via the I-80.
The I-80 continues both east and west into the neighbouring states of Nevada and Wyoming. It meets up in the heart of the city with the I-15, which is the main north to south state road. Head south-west and youll arrive in the Fishlake National Forest or drive north for Idaho.
Speed limits on interstates are 75mph on most stretches with some 80mph sections. In Salt Lake City itself the limit drops to 30mph in built-up areas, with some lower limits around schools.
The other major road rules are similar across the US no cell phone use while driving and the wearing of seat belts is compulsory.
The city is easy to navigate thanks to its grid-based system. At the citys centre is Temple Square and most of the streets are named based on their position in relation to it in increments of 100. For example, 700 E is seven blocks east of Temple Square.
